Hello! I am an interdisciplinary researcher of nineteenth-century North American literature and culture, the environmental humanities, and Native American and Indigenous studies.
Ice-fields in Baffin Bay, Nunavut, 2015.
Arctic bell heather, Kalaallit Nunaat.
Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Department of English at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Previously, I have researched and taught at Penn State University and the University of Toronto.
My scholarly and creative work are inspired by the oceanic and aquatic ecologies of the different places I have called home-from the Atlantic coastline of Maine and Newfoundland, to the Great Lakes, to the Mississippi River.
